"Organizers of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics on Tuesday named six stadiums across the United States set to host matches in the men's and women's Olympic soccer tournaments, expanding the competition footprint well beyond southern California. LA28 said group stage and knockout games will be played in New York, Columbus, Nashville, St Louis, San Jose and San Diego. The stadiums themselves are all home to Major League Soccer teams."

Snapdragon Stadium is the largest of the group, with a capacity of 35,000. PayPal Park is the smallest, at 18,000."
"LA28 said it designed the tournament schedule to stage matches concurrently from the East Coast to the West Coast in an effort to limit travel and support athlete welfare while offering fans a more geographically inclusive Games experience. The organizers also highlighted a milestone in Olympic soccer, pointing out that that for the first time more women's teams (16) than men's teams (12) will compete."
Group-stage and knockout matches for the 2028 Olympic men's and women's soccer tournaments will be played in New York, Columbus, Nashville, St. Louis, San Jose and San Diego at existing Major League Soccer venues and the new Etihad Park in Queens, due to be completed in 2027. Snapdragon Stadium is the largest site (35,000) and PayPal Park the smallest (18,000). Final-stage matches, including the gold medal games, will take place at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on 28 and 29 July 2028. The schedule is designed for concurrent East-to-West staging to limit travel and support athlete welfare. For the first time, 16 women's teams will compete versus 12 men's teams, aiming to set a benchmark for gender parity across team sports. A full match schedule and game locations will be announced before tickets go on sale in April.
