Revs fire Caleb Porter with playoffs out of sight
"I am very grateful to Caleb Porter for the energy, effort, and dedication he has brought to the Revolution over the last two years,"
"I have the utmost respect for Caleb and all the tireless work he's invested in the club, and we wish him the best moving forward."
The New England Revolution dismissed manager Caleb Porter, appointing assistant coach Pablo Moreira as interim for the remainder of the 2025 season. Porter was hired in December 2023 and finished with a regular-season record of 17-35-12. The Revolution are likely to miss the postseason for a second consecutive year, trailing the ninth-place Chicago Fire by 10 points with four matches remaining. Porter previously won MLS Cup with the Portland Timbers in 2015 and the Columbus Crew in 2020 and led the Crew to the 2021 Campeones Cup title. Porter began his managerial career at the University of Akron, winning an NCAA title in 2010.
