Andrew Robertson has been displaced in Liverpool's starting lineup by new signing Milos Kerkez but chose to remain at the club for the final year of his contract. Robertson was linked with a move to Atlético Madrid but stayed despite expecting to be a backup. He came off the bench at Burnley and immediately improved Liverpool's left side, showing he remains effective. Robertson emphasized his desire to play and push to regain the starting role, used the international break to regain match fitness and confidence, and said he will both pressure and help the younger Kerkez.
