Athletic Club has appointed Edin Terzic as their new head coach on a two-year contract. He will replace Ernesto Valverde, who announced his departure after four years. Terzic previously managed Borussia Dortmund, winning the German Cup in 2021 and reaching the Champions League final in 2024. He left Dortmund after a loss to Real Madrid and had not resumed his managerial career. Athletic Club is currently eighth in La Liga with four games remaining in the season.
