Sebastian Tounekti joined Celtic from Hammarby on a five-year deal after a reported £5m fee and a hectic final day of the transfer window. The 23-year-old winger made a man-of-the-match debut against Kilmarnock and emphasised that he sees Celtic as the best next step for his development. Tounekti rejected the idea of using the move primarily to reach top-five European leagues and said his sole focus is performing for Celtic. He stated his preferred position is on the left but confirmed he can play on the right if required and aims to show more throughout the season.
