"I think we will have to look at it. To do well at Euro 2028 we need to be used to that environment again, having not played there in a long time."
"Cardiff City Stadium will be our home, but we need and will look forward to playing there leading into 2028."
"home advantage"
The Football Association of Wales plans for the men's national team to return to Cardiff's 74,500-capacity Principality Stadium in the build-up to Euro 2028. The Principality is set to stage six games and is being tipped for the opening fixture, with Wales guaranteed to play there should they qualify. The national team have played at the Principality only once in 14 years, having used Cardiff City Stadium as their regular home. Redevelopment at Wrexham's Stok Cae Ras is under way to meet Uefa requirements and raise capacity to 18,000. The Principality is also being considered for a 2029 Women's Champions League final bid, and new research indicates football has strengthened its lead over rugby in national interest and participation.
