At the Google I/O 2025, Google introduced Stitch, an AI tool designed to streamline the creation of web and mobile app front ends through generative design techniques. Users can input simple text prompts or images to generate HTML and CSS for their app UIs, employing advanced AI models like Gemini 2.5 Pro and Flash. While Stitch is less advanced than some other coding assistants, it allows for significant customization, direct export to Figma, and even the ability to refine code in an IDE. Kathy Korevec highlighted its user-friendly approach and future capabilities.
Stitch is where you can come and get your initial iteration done, and then you can keep going from there, making design thinking more approachable.
While Stitch is a bit more limited compared to other vibe coding products, it offers customization options and supports direct exporting to Figma.
