Wayne Broadhurst, 49, a dog walker and waste collection worker, was killed in a stabbing in Midhurst Gardens, Uxbridge. Afghan lorry migrant Safi Dawood, 22, appeared in court charged with attacking his landlord and a 14-year-old boy with a knife and allegedly murdering Mr Broadhurst. His partner, Ann Newman, described him as hardworking, community-minded, and loving toward animals, noting he was walking his dog during the incident. Family and next of kin said his loss has left a deep void and praised his kindness, loyalty, and willingness to help others. A fundraiser has raised more than 35,000 to cover funeral and family support.
