Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at around 1.30am to reports of a stabbing. Officers initially found a 50-year-old man with stab wounds who was taken to hospital and later discharged. A short time later, Haseeb was discovered in nearby Flamstead Road suffering from stab injuries. Despite efforts from emergency services, he died at the scene."

Two men, Frankie Burletson and Swayf Amana, were convicted of murdering 23-year-old Haseeb Bhatti and causing grievous bodily harm to another man.
