The energy-efficient bulbs are crafted from recyclable, long-life materials and reduce energy consumption by 75 percent compared to previous installations. The festive celebration includes the return of the Ralph Lauren giving tree: a five-metre-tall Nordmann fir outside Ralph Lauren's flagship at 1 New Bond Street, collecting donations for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Luxury shops including Cartier, Gucci and Rolex will present Christmas window displays. Central London's major displays can be visited in one outing.
