"There won't be any Metropolitan services between Baker Street and Aldgate from Monday November 3 until Saturday November 8. That means no Metropolitan trains stopping at major stations like King's Cross St Pancras, Euston Square and Liverpool Street. Services are expected to be back up and running by Sunday. The week-long cancellation is down to a track fault at Baker Street. Apparently, there is a crack in the points."
"TfL says that halting the services will help ease pressure on the line while engineers fix the issue, but warns that it could cause minor delays on other parts of the line. So, if you're travelling into central London, you can use Circle or Hammersmith & City line services instead. And if you're travelling further out, you can change back onto the Bakerloo line at Baker Street. There's also the option to catch the Jubilee line from either Finchley Road or Baker Street."
Metropolitan line services between Baker Street and Aldgate will be suspended from 3–8 November. Major stations including King's Cross St Pancras, Euston Square and Liverpool Street will not be served by Metropolitan trains. The suspension is caused by a track fault at Baker Street, specifically a crack in the points where lines converge. Engineers will repair the fault and services are expected to resume by Sunday. TfL warns the disruption may cause minor delays elsewhere on the line. Passengers can use Circle or Hammersmith & City services into central London, change to the Bakerloo at Baker Street, or use the Jubilee line from Finchley Road or Baker Street.
