Two men jailed for Cattelan gold toilet theft
Briefly

James Sheen and Michael Jones were sentenced to prison for their involvement in the 2019 theft of Maurizio Cattelan's gold toilet from Blenheim Palace. Jones received 27 months, while Sheen was sentenced to four years, running consecutively with his existing 19-year sentence. The heist, which involved five men, was completed in just five-and-a-half minutes, and the toilet, worth £4.8 million, has never been recovered. Other individuals connected to the case also faced legal repercussions.
"This bold and brazen heist took no more than five-and-a-half minutes to complete. America has never been seen again."
"Between 15 and 28 September [2019], Sheen then made plans to sell the gold; it is believed to have been moved to different locations."
