""It was incredible," 18-year-old Antonio told NPR after the first show. "I loved it. I felt all the emotions at the same time.""

The Gamez-Cuellar brothers, aged 12 to 18, performed mariachi music at Kacey Musgraves' album debut in Texas. Their family faced a difficult immigration experience, being detained by ICE for 13 days after a required check-in. Despite these challenges, the brothers fulfilled a dream shared by generations of their musical family.
