"We took a little chance wheeling her back in three weeks and it worked out."

John Sadler captured his fourth Breeders' Cup victory when Super Corredora won the $2 million Juvenile Fillies at Del Mar. Super Corredora led from the start and prevailed by three-quarters of a length over Explora, marking the first time a filly has won the race coming off a maiden victory in her prior start. The filly is by Gun Runner and moved up successfully from sprint distances. Hector Barrios earned his first Breeders' Cup win aboard Super Corredora. Earlier, Cy Fair won the $1 million Turf Sprint, with Aidan O'Brien's best result second with Brussels.
