The player felt immense support from the country and recognized the significance of maintaining momentum during the game, notably with a crucial putt on hole fifteen. Having previously competed, the player was more prepared this time and found himself in a better position to deal with expectations and circumstances, particularly the windy conditions that emerged late in the round.
It was a big putt, especially having bogeyed three of the last four at that point. It was a huge putt to keep the momentum I had and then playing the last three holes under par was great.
Absolutely incredible. I feel the support of the entire country out there which is an incredible position to be in but you also don't want to let them down.
