Elon Musk, soon after his departure from the White House, vocally condemned President Trump's budget legislation, labeling it a "disgusting abomination" on social media. He expressed outrage at the significant spending increase and its implications for the national deficit, contrasting it with his previous criticisms, which were more tempered. Musk's discontent aligns with concerns raised by some Republican Senators about the potential rise in national debt, while the Congressional Budget Office forecasts a substantial deficit increase of $3.8 trillion linked to tax changes.
I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it.
I was like, disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not decrease it and undermines the work the DOGE team is doing.
I think a bill can be big or it can be beautiful. But I don't know if it can be both.
The Congressional Budget Office found that the bill would increase the federal deficit of $3.8 trillion attributable to tax changes.
