Katie Miller accused Uygur of antisemitism toward her despite Uygur making no comments about her faith or ethnicity. Uygur stated that criticism of Israel, including its conduct in Gaza, does not necessarily constitute antisemitism. Uygur was born in Istanbul, Türkiye, and emigrated to the United States at age eight.
