Yostin Mosquera, 35, was found guilty of double murder for killing Paul Longworth, 71, and Albert Alfonso, 62, in Shepherd's Bush on 8 July 2024. He dismembered their bodies, froze parts, and transported the remains in suitcases to Bristol. The court viewed shocking footage of Mosquera celebrating after the murders. He had stabbed Alfonso during a sexual act and killed Longworth with a hammer, hiding his body in a bed. Mosquera admitted to killing Alfonso, claiming manslaughter due to loss of control and was sentenced on 24 October.
