Meta has hosted advertisements on Facebook, Instagram, and Threads from pro-Israel entities raising funds for military equipment for the IDF. Research by Eko found at least 117 ads first published since March 2025 that directly sought donations for military needs. Despite previous reports prompting the removal of similar ads, Meta allowed new campaigns to surface. Ads did not comply with the required authorization process, which mandates disclosures of funding sources. Eko highlighted the lack of adequate checks and balances by Meta regarding such political and military fundraising.
