"Her post comes less than a year after a trans X user told her she is "going to be against gay rights as soon as it becomes socially advantageous". Writing in November 2024, she responded to the user, writing "Votes for gay marriage twice in fact", referencing her two roll call votes in support of the Respect for Marriage Act."
