The officer was in stable condition after being hit in the face and arm during an exchange of gunfire with the suspect, who approached him on a moped. Miguel Mora, a 21-year-old undocumented immigrant, was arrested after sustaining gunshot wounds himself. He had a criminal history including prior arrests and had entered the country illegally. Officials are searching for an accomplice linked to the incident.
