The administration announced withdrawal of 700 of 2,700 federal immigration agents in the Twin Cities amid a crackdown. In an NBC interview, President Trump acknowledged both incidents, said neither victim was 'an angel', called the shootings unacceptable, and expressed support for ICE and law enforcement. The president asserted that ICE agents feel worse about the killings than anyone and described agents as strong, tough, and dealing with hardened criminals.
