President Trump placed a candy bar on a child's head while handing out treats at the White House Halloween event, reenacting a meme from his 2019 appearances. A longer video shows him excitedly greeting children dressed as him and as McDonald's characters. This time the chocolate stayed on the child's flat costume head. In 2019, Trump attempted the same stunt on a puffy Minion costume and the candy slid off, eliciting a genuine laugh from Trump and visible confusion from the child. First Lady Melania Trump replicated the gesture during the earlier incident.
