Trump White House Kicks WSJ Reporter Off Trip As Punishment
Briefly

The Trump White House removed a Wall Street Journal reporter from covering President Trump's trip to Scotland due to the newspaper's reporting on Trump's past ties with Jeffrey Epstein. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that the Journal's actions were considered fake and defamatory. Trump has filed a $10 billion defamation lawsuit against the Journal and its owner. Additionally, Trump's administration limited access to the Associated Press, which resisted changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico in its style guide. First Amendment rights were cited regarding access to press privileges.
Due to the Wall Street Journal's fake and defamatory conduct, they will not be one of the thirteen outlets on board.
Trump has since sued the Journal and its parent company owner Rupert Murdoch for defamation, seeking a whopping $10 billion in damages.
The Constitution requires no less, if the Government opens its doors to some journalists, it cannot then shut those doors to other journalists because of their viewpoints.
Trump also limited White House access to the Associated Press over the global news agency's refusal to rename the Gulf of Mexico the Gulf of America in its style guide.
