I Spent $60,000 on a UX Design Bachelor's Degree-Was it Worth it?
Briefly

Learning in the first year of university included usability, theory, and user testing/interviews. Professors were experienced designers from companies like IBM. Many students engaged in UX Design or Research in laboratories. Networking opportunities were vital for internships, with alumni connections playing a significant role. Although the idea of self-learning UX was possible, the networking and collaborative experiences in college offered valuable benefits. The full college experience provided personal satisfaction, despite criticisms of the financial investment.
As long as there is a solid university foundation, school rankings do not matter much as long as the resources you're looking for are there.
In my first year at University, I learned a ton about usability, theory, and how to write and conduct user testing/interviews.
Although I do owe a lot of credit to the school's alumni network for helping me get my internship, as the company had good experiences with past students.
His only response was, 'Sounds like an expensive networking opportunity.'
