Oculus Studios has announced that it will stop releasing content updates for Beat Saber on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 beginning in June 2025, with multiplayer support ending in January 2026. Despite this, the game will remain purchasable and playable on the PlayStation Store, with a cut-off date for new songs set for June 18. The decision, described as a forward-looking leap for Beat Saber, has received mixed reactions from the gaming community, as many players express dissatisfaction with the discontinuation of support for consoles they use.
As we look to the future and plan the next big leap for Beat Saber, we have made the decision to no longer release updates for PS4 and PS5 starting in June 2025.
Starting on January 21st, 2026, multiplayer will no longer be available in Beat Saber on PS4 and PS5.
