The Season 2 finale set up the fight for control of Vegas without showing a clear victor and positioned Cooper Howard to travel to Colorado in Season 3. A post-credits scene has Dane delivering plans to Quintus as he seeks to regain control of the Brotherhood of Steel after Maximus left it fractured. Quintus abandons his role as "the Unifier" and adopts "the Destroyer" persona while unveiling blueprints for Liberty Prime. Liberty Prime originated in 2072 as an American superweapon against Chinese forces, a walking, talking giant robot that was impressive but plagued by faulty weapon systems.
