In Donkey Kong Bananza, players can collect music discs through various methods. Defeating enemies offers a chance for music discs to drop, unlike specific collectibles like fossils or Banandium Gems, which are located in fixed places. Tipping 10 gold to Trustytone concierge NPCs also provides a random chance to obtain music discs. There appears to be no pattern to which disc players receive based on location or enemy defeated. Additionally, wearing the Diva Dress increases music disc drop rates, which can be unlocked with amiibo.
The world is yours to destroy in Donkey Kong Bananza, but it doesn't mean you should kick, slap, or punch without a rhythm.
A huge part of the Bananza experience is about hunting for collectibles - stuff like fossils, Banandium Gems, and yes, music discs.
Unlike fossils or Banandium Gems, which are hidden in specific places on the map, music discs just have a chance to drop when you kill an enemy.
You can also increase the rate music discs drop if Pauline wears the Diva Dress, which unlocks via using the Donkey Kong and Pauline amiibo.
