Metal Gear Solid Delta 3's Fox Hunt Mode Is Live With New Update
"As seen in the trailer, players have advanced camo options that can allow them to hide in plain sight. Both sides have those capabilities, but there are also decoys that can be deployed to trick players into thinking they've got the drop on their enemies. There are two online modes in Fox Hunt, both of which support up to 12 players."
"Survival Capture tasks players to capture Kerotan frogs during a "tense, multi-phase mission." And the number of frogs available goes down the longer the match continues. Survival Intrude is the second mode, and it lets players capture and hold zones during fierce battles. Like the previous mode, the number of available zones will decrease as the match continues. Unfortunately, Fox Hunt doesn't support cross-platform multiplayer options. But players on the same consoles can create private matches with their friends."
"MGS Delta: Snake Eater passed 1 million in sales by the beginning of September. Last month, Konami shared a patch that handled some of the game's bugs and introduced an inverted camera. Konami recently confirmed that Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2 is still in the works, but the publisher has yet to confirm a release date or which games will be included in it. The patch notes for the latest MGS Delta: Snake Eater update are included below."
Fox Hunt is a new multiplayer mode for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater that supports up to 12 players in stealth-focused, cat-and-mouse encounters. Players can use advanced camouflage to hide in plain sight and deploy decoys to mislead opponents. The mode offers two formats: Survival Capture, which tasks players with capturing Kerotan frogs in a multi-phase mission with dwindling frog availability, and Survival Intrude, which requires capturing and holding zones as available zones decrease over time. Fox Hunt lacks cross-platform play but allows private matches on the same console. The game surpassed one million sales and received a patch addressing bugs and adding an inverted camera.
