The 8-LP set contains 134 remastered songs, archival artwork from the development team, and ships in June 2026 with pre-orders opening immediately. Nintendo described the release as a way to gauge U.S. demand for physical video game soundtracks, noting CDs remain prominent in Japan. Company VP Bill Trinen said Nintendo has released few physical soundtracks in the U.S. Previously delisted games received updates, Apple joined the Game Awards advisory board, and Day of the Tentacle continues to be celebrated in 2025.
