Pokémon Legends Z-A is set for release on October 16, 2023, marking the first major Pokémon title since 2022's Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Pre-orders will begin on June 5, 2023. The game, developed by Game Freak, will be available for both the original Switch and the newer Switch 2, the latter featuring enhanced graphics at an added cost. Set in Lumiose City in Kalos, Z-A focuses on real-time combat and incorporates Mega Evolution, distinguishing it from previous mainline games.
