The Underrated Avatar Game Is Getting A Big Update In Time For The Third Movie
Briefly

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora offers an engaging open-world experience reflective of James Cameron's vision. A new free update on December 5 introduces a game-plus mode, allowing players to restart the main quest while retaining previous items and skills. This feature is intended to enhance gameplay by enabling players to maximize skill trees and confront improved enemies. Additionally, a significant update is the introduction of a third-person camera mode which allows players to switch perspectives easily, expanding the game's audience and enriching visual experiences during play.
"We're reworking animations, controls, and camera systems to make sure it all feels just right," Boual said. The reveal trailer shows the player's Na'vi running across fields, sliding down mountainsides, shooting arrows, and platforming, and it all looks natural.
The new third-person mode, meanwhile, is arguably the game's biggest change. Players will be able to switch between first and third person at the touch of a button, according to the game's creative director, Omar Boual.
