South Africa forward Lochner signs new Quins deal
""We're delighted that Danelle has committed to Harlequins again ahead of the 26-27 season. We've seen during her time at the club and in international colours, just how good of an operator she is. She is superb in the set-piece and an incredibly dynamic player in attack.""
Danelle Lochner, a South African international forward, has signed a new contract with Harlequins for the 2026-27 season. The 28-year-old lock joined the team in 2023 and has made 26 appearances, despite missing nearly four months due to a shoulder injury. Lochner has earned 21 caps with the Springboks Women and participated in the World Cup quarter-finals last year. Head coach Ross Chisholm expressed delight at her commitment, praising her skills in set-pieces and dynamic play in attack.
