Jeffrey Epstein's assistant ordered so many DNA kits, the company asked why
"A thread of emails from Jeffrey Epstein's former assistant reveals that they once ordered so many DNA test kits from the Bay Area biotech company 23andMe that it prompted a representative to reach out and ask for more information about their intended use. According to the exchange, around the summer of 2017, Epstein's former executive assistant, Lesley Groff, attempted to order over two dozen DNA kits for Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem"
"The order contained 30 Health and Ancestry Service kits priced at $199 each, amounting to just over $6,000, emails released by the Justice Department show. The large purchase then flagged 23andMe's customer support team, which reached out with further questions. In a response to a representative, Sulayem said that he was interested in his ancestry and wanted to give them to his co-workers as presents."
In summer 2017, Lesley Groff ordered 30 23andMe Health and Ancestry Service kits priced at $199 each, totaling just over $6,000, for Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem and arranged delivery to Epstein's New York mansion. The unusually large purchase prompted 23andMe customer support to inquire about intended use. Sulayem expressed interest in his ancestry and planned to give the kits to co-workers as gifts. Groff asked whether individual names could be omitted from each test kit and requested expedited shipping. The kits were loaded onto an Emirates plane and flown to Dubai. Sulayem maintained a close personal relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
