Tiny Victoria’s body was found in a Lidl shopping bag with a sandwich wrapper and empty beer can, discarded in an allotment shed as the couple fled during a nationwide manhunt in early 2023. Marten left an affluent background and went off-grid; the couple had four children previously removed from their care. Gordon served 22 years in a US prison and has a long criminal history. Both faced trial at the Old Bailey.
