The study identified three different writing styles across 50 chapters, revealing inconsistencies in language and content. This challenges long-held religious beliefs and supports earlier theories of a complex authorship process that has existed for over 200 years. Notably, the Bible’s interpretative history reflects an evolution of text through redactors, altering original messages over nearly a millennium.
The original versions of the scrolls were continuously reworked and rewritten by redactors who added, altered, and sometimes also omitted parts of the former texts.
