HS2's Colne Valley Viaduct, 3.4km long, has been waterproofed, completed by VolkerLaser after significant construction efforts. The viaduct will facilitate HS2 trains between Ruislip and Chiltern tunnels. Construction began in March 2021, with waterproofing work initiated in October 2023. Various specialized techniques were employed for surface preparation, utilizing DGH150 diamond grinders and ride-on shot blasters. Over 50,000m² of GCP Eliminator waterproofing was applied.
