LIV Golf to play 72 holes in ranking points pitch - even if its name no longer makes sense

LXXII Golf shifted from 54 to 72 holes, reverting to the traditional four-day format to satisfy sponsors, broadcasters, and top players.

LIV Golf will switch regular-season tournaments to 72 holes over four days while retaining concurrent individual and team competitions.
