Pregnancy loss shouldn't be a taboo topic in the workplace
Companies should provide bereavement leave that explicitly covers pregnancy loss, beyond short standard leaves, to support grieving parents and allow recovery.
Bereavement leave to be extended to miscarriages before 24 weeks
"No one who is going through the heartbreak of pregnancy loss should have to go back to work before they are ready," said Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner.
