On Friday, a Delta flight from Los Angeles International Airport experienced a severe incident when its engine caught fire shortly after takeoff. The Boeing 767, carrying 9 crew members and 226 passengers, was forced to return due to a malfunction in the left engine. Pilots managed to land safely with no flames visible upon arriving at the gate. Firefighters conducted a precautionary examination of the aircraft, and an investigation is currently examining the engine failure.
