How on earth has Charlie Sheen made it to 60? How has he survived decades of cocaine first snorted, then smoked as crack endless parties with alcohol and friends? And his sexual excesses? Did he make enough to cover all the extortion money he gave to sex workers, including one to whom he reportedly paid as much as $1.4 million?

In The Book of Sheen, released Tuesday, the Two and a Half Men star wrote that there's "not enough room in my car" for dating right now. In an interview with Page Six published in time with the release, the actor shared that he hasn't had a girlfriend in almost a decade, prompting the interviewer to ask if that meant he'd been celibate.

Perhaps the most striking revelation in the piece is Sheen's acknowledgment of his relationships and sexual encounters with men. The lead-up to the documentary marks the first time he has even broached the subject, describing the process of opening up as "fucking liberating." He added, "A fucking piano didn't fall out of the sky. No one ran into the room and shot me."

And in whatever chunks of time that I was off the pipe, trying to navigate that, trying to come to terms with it - 'Where did that come from?... Why did that happen? - and then just finally being like, 'So what?' So what? Some of it was weird. A lot of it was f***ing fun, and life goes on.
