The NCS is a programme run by the Government and provides parents with subsidies to cover expenses associated with early learning and school-age childcare. It offers parents two types of subsidy for children over six months and up to (but not including) children aged 15 through two subsidies: a universal one that is not means tested and an income-assessed one that is means tested.
