Suspect in attack on Boulder's Pearl Street mall charged with federal hate crime
Mohamed Sabry Soliman, a 45-year-old man living illegally in Colorado, has been accused of attacking demonstrators using a makeshift flamethrower and Molotov cocktails.
"The suspect was a 24-year-old Afghan asylum-seeker, police said. Authorities believe the protest was likely targeted at random, emphasizing the unexpected nature of the attack."
