Durham Regional Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in Clarington, where a man in his 40s died after the single vehicle incident on Trulls Road.

Around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers responded to a call about an assault near Steeplechase Street and Windfields Farm Drive E., according to a police release Monday.

The post-mortem examination found no signs of foul play, indicating the injuries sustained by the victim were a consequence of the fire.

When officers arrived at Uxbridge Secondary School, they found a male with a stab wound, who was later treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
