The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 was announced in late September and is built on the 3nm node by TSMC, but according to the latest rumor, Samsung will be tasked with the production of the "for Galaxy" iteration that the company has been implementing in its flagship phones for the past couple of generations. Moreover, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 for Galaxy SoC won't be just an overclocked version of the standard one, but it will likely be built on Samsung's 2nm GAA process.

The 2600 will use the new Heat Pass Block element, which will help remove more heat from the silicon. The Exynos 2600 has been spotted on Geekbench a couple of times with the more recent scores looking quite promising. The Xclipse 960 GPU has also been benchmarked and it might beat Qualcomm's GPU in the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
