So Timmy Turner from Fairly OddParents, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Leonardo from TMNT are all in a game together, and no, I'm talking about Fortnite. Not this time. Instead, these and other Nickelodeon cartoon characters are part of Dice of Destiny, a newly released action RPG that plays a lot like Baby's First Diablo, which might be the perfect game for parents and kids to enjoy together. Just don't go in expecting something deep, difficult, or long.

Many of the best theme parks in the United States have incredible Halloween-themed parties or haunts to attend, and even better, some are included with your overall ticket into the park. As a childless woman in my early 30s, I rarely seek out family-friendly beach resorts. But when I was invited to the new Oku Andalusia, I immediately said yes. For the kids, there's a lot to love. There are the action montages, a bright retro futuristic setting, a visual style that is gee-whiz superhero cool, but in a comic way - shiny and light and not over the top. The movie is just more palatable for kids than most other Marvel movies, emotionally and cognitively. The superheroes are relatable as family but they also play the part of role models well, interacting with and caring deeply about the public they serve.

I don't know that we've ever seen a year quite like this one when it comes to new co-op experiences. From major-publisher-backed hits like Split Fiction and Grounded 2, to indie darlings like REPO and Peak, there hasn't just been a significant quantity of games meant for co-op play, but they've gone in so many different, yet similarly exciting, directions.
