A man was pictured wearing a dark United away strip from the 2018-19 season, which prompted furious City fans to complain to the club. A City supporter contacted the club's fan support page to raise the issue, and attached a picture of the United fan behind one of the bars on the concourse. The club replied: "Thank you for making us aware of this. We can confirm that this individual has now been removed from their position."

Rangers have been fined 17,291 and given a suspended supporter ban by Uefa after the "lighting of fireworks" during last month's Champions League play-off defeat by Club Brugge. The German Basketball Association said two people were identified as the alleged perpetrators of the abuse and they were subsequently ejected from the arena in Tampere, Finland. "You can insult me but monkey noises are something I don't respect or accept. Racism has no place in this sport," Schroder said. The Germany captain, who is Black, heard the noises while walking to the locker room, news agency dpa reported.
