The Met Office weather warnings come into force as Storm Benjamin brings heavy rain and wind gusts in excess of 70mph. The Met Office has issued four yellow weather warnings as Storm Benjamin could bring disruption on Thursday with flooding, travel disruption or power cuts. The weather warnings covers southern England, East Midlands, Yorkshire and parts of Wales which are currently in place from midnight until 6pm. A second yellow warning is in place for rain in East Anglia and Lincolnshire from midnight until 9pm. And south east England the warnings are in place from 3am until midnight.
