Robert Aguilera, while driving along C Avenue, observed a small child standing alone in the middle of the road. Without hesitation, Aguilera safely stopped the bus, allowed the child to board, and immediately contacted VVTA dispatch... He remained with the child until deputies arrived, who were then able to reunite the child with the mother.

In one incident, Stephen Cummings, a police officer at the hospital, says he was left in a bloody brawl after a patient assaulted a nurse. He got very irate, challenged us, and tried to punch us. Well, he punched me in the nose, Cummings said. Blood was everywhere. I didn't know it was my blood.
