Olga Enciso Smith, 81, has used her gallery as a cultural bridge, introducing South Bay residents to Indigenous textiles, ceramics and visual storytelling from Latin America.

"These works carry memory. They are not just handmade; they are hand-held stories of survival, spirituality, and community."

The exhibition features over 70 artists and 27 figures showcasing the artist as storyteller and creator of narratives—symbolizing the culture of storytelling central to the exhibition.

The Walker Youngbird Foundation-Emerging Native Arts Grant supports early-career Native artists by providing a $15,000 grant, mentorship, and a curated showcase, awarded twice a year.

White was a "ringleader" in a multi-layered forgery operation.

"I grew up very close to my paternal grandmother, she was a Navajo rug weaver, she comes from our family of shepherds. She's like, the sole reason I would say, for my creativity," he said.
